Riding Popularity, Sisterhood For Relevance and Visibility

When Kisses Delavin was being tagged as the kikay housemate due to the constant make-up application and retouch even if she was just being called up at the confession room, people are quick to remember a previous regular housemate. Say Alonzo, the ‘maarte’ or ‘kikay’ houseguest in their batch. When the comparison became noisy Ms. Alonzo is quick to ride-on and even joined in the bashing of other teen housemates. Did Say Alonzo forget how to live inside the PBB house? With nothing to do or interact with, other than their co-houseguest inside PBB?

Who was she after her PBB stint? What made her short showbiz career noisy? The only common answer to that is; Say Alonzo didn’t get the break she needs, a primary role that could boom her bid to real stardom. Instead, she settles for supporting roles and her showbiz career was observable and became exciting whenever she jumps on to others fight and career issue, a common term from the press ‘using others for publicity’ a decade ago. So, are these online comments not true of her riding the newly found fame of Kisses Delavin? Viewers nowadays are vigilant and very keen observer to see the pattern.

Presently we observe the same scenario; Kisses fight is her fight, but her attack/response to this online bashing doesn’t suit her age and lest we forget the branding she was being presented way back as PBB houseguest nor the reality she’s having presently. Evidently Say is enjoying a slice of attention from Kisses’ tray of following, well it is an additional social media following after all and a web traffic to her blog.

Everyone has a right to form special friendship to whomever they want, but is Say's friendship to Kisses genuine enough? Or is her friendship just for benefits? Let's give her the benefit of the doubt, but is this friendship of hers milking too much to be relevant in the showbiz circle again? 

Ms. Alonzo should be the adult that her age requires, the ideal example of good character to the young ones, the influencer she is trying to convey and to be relevant on her own merit. Fight your own battle and let Kisses deal with her own showbiz luck and imps. Supporting is different from jumping into the fight of others or joining the war if the war is not yours in the first place.

Showbizness is uncertain just like what happened to her career years ago, one day you’re in and one day you’re out. Kisses is no exception to this just like her; as people have yet to see real and raw talent from her aside from being kikay and beauty queen.

I am not a Say Alonzo social media follower, I have made aware she became relevant nowadays because her name is always on the sideline with Kisses (so it only means, her taking advantage of the newcomer’s, Ms. Delavin, new found fame is working). A person who rides on someone’s fights as exposure or profile-raising is like an itch that needs to be scratch and be rid off with a cleanser.
